Dear Prayer Partner
Thank you for taking the time to read our Newsletter. We try to keep it short, but have a lot to share with you. We know time is precious and therefore we appreciate you giving us time to read what Father is doing in our lives and ministry.
AUGUST MONTH – ANNIVERSARY MONTH
The month of August is a very special month for us, because it is our Wedding Anniversary month. We were married for 28 years on August 14 this year and it is always a time for us to reflect on the goodness of our Heavenly Father in our lives. We look back and see how He has made a path for us over the past 28 years and made His dreams come true for our lives, more than we could ever think or pray as a young married couple.
We can only stand still and honor God for His Love for us and for the wonderful privilege we have of being able to stand together in His service for the past 28 years. What a privilege that we could be witnesses, and still can be, of His love that transforms people’s lives, the love of the Cross that brings people into God’s Kingdom and the power of Prayer that sets people free, heals the and gives them hope for a future.
Our hearts are full of gratitude for our Father’s goodness and favor that follows us, as He promises in Psalm 23: 6 and that we are at home in His House and that it will be so for all eternity.
This passage is so beautiful in The Passion Translation and we just want to share it with you to encourage you even in this time in which we live and where there are so many uncertain things in the natural. In this time we can know that we do not need to fear the future, because He is with us every moment!

So why would I fear the future?
Only goodness and tender love pursue me all the days of my life.
Then afterward, when my life is through,
I’ll return to your glorious presence to be forever with you!
SAD NEWS
Just over a month ago, Mariska Beetge, who is one of our full-time Prayer Missionaries and also doing the Ministry Degree through IHOPU, lost her Dad to Covid. She, her mother and father contracted Covid and her father eventually went to the hospital, where he lost his fight against the virus after being just more than a week in hospital. It was bad for all of us who stood with them in faith for his healing, but we know that God is sovereign and although we do not have all the answers here on earth, we know that He is still the God who loves us and still the God who heals.
However, we are so proud of Mariska who, despite the sad path she is on now, has completed her previous term’s studies and passed her exams, and is now already busy with the next term.
COMPLETION OF A CIRCLE
You may remember that Father sent us to the USA in 2018 with the main goal of negotiating with the University at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City to offer their course in South Africa. (Those negotiations led to the fact that we were not only able to present the first year at Witbank House of Prayer last year, but that we are currently the first campus for their university in South Africa – read more about this on our website at the following link:

We also paid a visit during that US trip to Washington DC, where we discovered Bound4Life and we also registered as a Bound4Life Chapter in the same year. You can read more about this at the following link: https://witbankhop.co.za/bound4life/
The third place we visited and where Father instructed us, was the Healing Rooms in Santa Maria and the assignment was to register Witbank House of Prayer as Healing Rooms at the International Healing Room ministry in Spokane, USA, and to function as Healing Rooms as part of our ministry of being a House of Prayer.
We are VERY EXCITED to tell you that our Healing Rooms are registered and that we are already functioning. We currently have one day a week dedicated to it, between 12:00 and 14:00 on a Tuesday. Today 31st August was our third time doing Healing Rooms and since we started, we had people coming each day for prayer for healing.

“TV CHANNEL”
New exciting news is that we are going to start on our YouTube channel with a variety of short programs, almost like on a TV Channel. Our first recording is September 6th and it will be available on YouTube shortly thereafter.
Here our students are going to do a program called Youth Talk. We will also do programs on the prophetic, prayer (of course) and marriage and family life. These programs are done by ourselves and also other of us full-time prayer missionaries who like to share what the Lord puts on their hearts.
We want to encourage you to tune in to our YouTube channel and also be a part of what we do.
PRAYER CHAIN
We are still engaged in the Prayer Chain whereby we pray with dozens of people across our country for breakthrough with the pandemic in our country, but also for healing and revival for our country.
Initially we thought the prayer chain will be 21 days with a 21 day Daniel fast, but we are already at Day 524 and Father has not yet told us that the season for the prayer chain is over.
We therefore continue with this as an extension of what we are doing in the House of Prayer.
TIME IN THE PRAYER ROOM
One of the greatest privileges we have in the ministry is to be able to spend time in the Prayer Room, either in the Word during Worship with the Word sessions, or in intercession for persecuted nations, businesses, youth, Israel and also our own country during Intercession sessions.
We would like to invite you if you stay in Witbank to schedule time in your day to come and spend in Father’s presence in the House of Prayer. There is just something special about being in the atmosphere of corporate prayer or worship.
We would love to see!
WHAT ARE WE TRUSTING THE LORD FOR?
In this letter, we just want to share with you two prayer requests, one for the ministry and one for us personally.
- For the ministry, we trust the Lord for a good video camera with which we can do better quality “live-streaming” of our Sundays FellowshipS, as well as our live sessions throughout the week in the House of Prayer. We are currently using an iPad and the video quality is not too bad, but the audio quality is not very good.
Please pray with us for provision for this.
- For us personally, we trust the Lord to be able to go on leave at the end of this year (perhaps end of November, beginning of December) for about 10 days for a time of rest. Please trust the Lord with us for the finances to be able to do this.
