Beholding what you want to became

In one of our subjects, we are reading a book of Samuel Whitfield of Discipleship begins with beholding, in this book he is talking about discipleship and that the center piece of discipleship is not about gaining new information but beholding the Son of Man. I and most probably you can agree with me when I say I have heard so may times you become what you behold, and this is so true and I have realized that if one heard it so many times you almost think you know what it means but actually, we are just use to hear this but what does it really mean? When we behold Jesus, transformation in our inner being must change. Are you and I at that place where we behold the Son of Man enough so that there can take transformation place in our hearts.

IHOPU

It is going very good with my studies. My subjects are awesome. In Leadership & Next Generation one of the things that really stood out to me is we need to be so sensitive in the Spirit of the seasons that we are in. We need to ask God regularly what is He busy with, what does He want to say about the season we are in and the things that is happening around us. This is not just important in our own lives but also for those we are leading and those in the next generation we are teaching. I don’t have enough space is my letter to say things that is standing out for me in all my classes but one thing I can say is that God is busy working. This term is ending the 10th March.

Spring Ministry Trip

Yearly IHOPU have a Spring ministry trip where they go out to different locations and just be Jesus’ hands and feet. The three objects of these Ministry Trips are as follow:

3 full objectives that we have for trips.

  1. Education
  2. school connection (synergy with each other and culture building)
  3. Partnering in the Great Commission by advancing Night and Day prayer with worship through and proclaiming the beauty of Jesus and His glorious return.

Last year our online students in Witbank joined the Online Ministry Trip where we ministered with students all over the world on an online platform. BUT this year we can do our own ministry trip in South Africa. Our Ministry trip will be from the 25 March until the 2 April 2023. We will minister in areas in the Free State and in Johannesburg and then we will do a silent siege in Bloemfontein in front of the court. In the areas we are going to minister we will do an intercession set with the Harp & Bowl Model where we will intercede for the community and town we are visiting. We will have a specific location and time where we will pray for people who is in need of prayer. We will also be available to minister to leaders of churches and just stand in faith with them for whatever they need. We will also be sharing the Gospel in the streets or a formal setting at a event if it is requested from us. Our main focus for this Ministry Trip is to advance the Kingdom of God through prayer, worship and the Gospel. We are trusting God for all the money needed to go on this trip, that is part of the trip that we get all the finances that is needed. Our budget is R15 000 which includes 2 meals a day, 2 t-shirts and the fuel. We are 10 people going, who is the four IHOPU Students, who’s responsibility is to arrange and plan the whole Ministry Trip, the two Joshua year students, one of our part time worshipers that did the Joshua Year, and then Marais and Linda and Pierre is going with as the leaders and fulltime staff. We are excited for what God will be doing. If you feel on your heart to partner with us in meeting our budget, you can make a donation into the House of Prayer bank account with the reference IHOP Ministry Trip.  Please also partner with us in prayer as well.

House of Prayer News

Plumbline: The Plumbline which is a personal restoration course took place on the 13-19 February 2023. I felt that I need to go again to be ministered to and God once again provided so that I can go. Wow, wow what an awesome time. It was hard to go back to things that happened and especially the last two years but it was worth it in the end. Jesus set me free and healed a lot of pain that was in my heart. One specific thing that I can share is Jesus healed me from the death of my father and things that came through it and it was just amazing to experience Jesus on another level as healer.

Half night prayer watch: We had our first half night of prayer for this year, on the 10th of February.  It was so amazing time in the presence of the Lord for six hours non stop prayer and worship. Here is the link to the live streaming of the six hours.

House of Prayer Celebration: We had our yearly celebration of the House of Prayer on the 5th February, to celebrate God’s faithfulness and where we stand in front of Him with thankful hearts with what He has done and how he provided and added people in the House. We celebrated this year the 6th year in the building.

Upcoming Events:

Good Friday: On the 7th of April we will be watching a play from Justin Rizzo which is from the Patmos where the story of Jesus is being told out of the eye of John the Baptist that was in jail in Patmos. Please if you are in Witbank, come and join us. We will be starting 08:00 in the Prayer Room.

First Love Conference: We have a First love conference again this year. This sis something that God laid on our hearts to start with in 2022 and we will host once again this year on the 12-14th May. Book these dates out and don’t miss this!

Living Ball Kids

We are so thankful for God’s faithfulness and goodness. We have now 35 children that we have the opportunity to give them sport and also teach them about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the love which God love them with. We are also volunteering at the children’s home which is so awesome to have the opportunity to love them and care for those children. All the glory belongs to the Lord.

Personal News

God is really working in my heart, that I was His first, before everything else. My heart is so full of thankfulness towards God because He is to faithful and good. He knows our heart and knows what we need.

SO, the date is set, we are getting married the 3 June 2023. We are very excited. Without it all being a new journey, it is also a faith journey. Our wedding is paid by God’s provision and I believe that even this is God’s preparation of our hearts for things that will come in our life. But I am a living testimony of God’s provision and faithfulness. I have come this far by the grace of God and His provision. Most to all of the things must be paid a week before the wedding. Please pray with us for finances to be loosen.  If you feel led by the Holy Spirit to make a contribution please contact me.

Please pray with me

  • Thank God with me for His faithfulness and provision over my life.
  • Pray with us that more people will be added to the House of Prayer.
  • Pray for grace with my studies, that I will be able to allow that which I learn not to be only knowledge.
  • Pray with us for God’s provision for the wedding.
  • Pray for my family, that God will strengthen them and that they will encounter the unconditional love of God.
  • Pray with us and stand in faith with us that God will provide a car for us.
  • Pray for the Ministry trip that will take place, for God’s favor, that there will be divine appointments where we are going that God will prepare the ground.
