Our God is a compassionate and faithful Father

As we stand at the beginning of a new year, I stand in awe and I stand with a thankful heart. I am looking forward to the year 2022. Again, as always in the time that I started my journey at the House of Prayer, God provided supernaturally.
IHOP University:
I stand with a thankful heart before God, for He has provided the finances for my first semester studies. I am currently in my third year of my studies at Ministry School. We started from the beginning with full force. In this quarter, we have the yearlong subjects that are Encounter God Studies, where Mike Bikle (the founder of the International House of Prayer) and other IHOP staff members teach through John 15. Then we have Ministry Prayer and Practicum where we do the practical stuff of ministry. Then there is IHOPU Foundations which is a subject required for all students where we talk about practical stuff and worship and also receive teachings. For this quarter, we have two subjects, Psalms, where we walk through the Psalms. I had such an amazing experience. We have the assignment to pray through five Psalms a day. Its so amazing the presence of God and the encounter I have with Him as I pray through the Psalms. The other subject is Cultivating a life in the Spirit, which we learn about word meditation and how we live a life connected with Holy Spirit on a daily bases.
I am excited for what God has in store for this year.

House of Prayer News:

We started on the 9th of January with our first fellowship. IHOPU students began the following week. We are currently 3 IHOPU students. On the 1 February our Joshua Year students started and we are excited to announce that we have 5 Joshua Year students for this year.
Bound4Life: We also had our first Bound4Life on the 2nd February. For those who don’t know, Bound4Life is a prayer movement where we pray for the ending of abortion in our nation, and for the laws of our nation to change. There are two parts to how we do this. The one part is a silent siege where we go to an abortion clinic and stand before the clinic with red tape on our mouths with the word LIFE written on it and we stand in silent and pray for the ending of abortion in our nation. Then after that we do a two-hour intercession set in the prayer room, where we pray for revival in our nation, the ending of abortion on a wider aspect.
Healing Rooms: We have started with the healing rooms again for the year. We trust God to manifest more and more of His presence. The Healing Rooms are currently running on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 14:00. Personal News:

I am thankful that Jesus provided for me to do my license. I am currently busy with lessons.
Each and every time He comes to remind me that He will take care of me. Someone shared an experience they had with the Lord the other day and I was so touched by it. The person asked the Lord, why is it so difficult to just be like a child, as the Bible says, and the Lord answered the person, if you truly believe that I will provide for you as a faithful Father, then it will be easier to live like a child every day.
The Lord has placed excitement in my heart for this year, and I have so many expectations for this year.
