Are we ready?
7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 8 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and famines. These are the beginning of birth pains. – Mark 13:7-8
I’m sorry to start out this month’s newsletter this way; so heavy…Well Ok, maybe I’m not?…Did you see that just there?..I had a heavy, confronting and possibly offensive subject of urgency on my heart which in fact comes packaged in scarlet letters from the man Jesus Himself; however I was momentarily reluctant to share it even with you my fellow believer and prayer partner. Is this not the main matter of concern for us as believers, being in the current times of war, rumors of war, nation rising against nation, natural disaster, etc which are only the birth pains preluding the even greater tribulation to come; that we are so reluctant, and for some of us even unwilling to speak the confronting absolutes of God’s Word, as if offending a brother or sister or worse a non-believer is a greater evil according to our post-modern / secular-humanistic / socially just, false sense of morality than avoiding the absolute truths which are difficult to stomach, and in so doing, risking eternities? Is it not on these lines of the fine print T&Cs which we don’t always like to read or talk about that the following division is drawn by Jesus in the same chapter of Mark’s Gospel? … 12 “Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child. Children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. 13 Everyone will hate you because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.” I don’t know about you, but the reality of this passage of scripture and the fact that it is immanent, if not already upon us based on the signs of the times as described in this very chapter in verses 7 & 8; is a very scary thought…Well as for me and my house, I want to do all I can as a husband & father to insure that one family member does not betray another on the account of the truth or compromise thereof! Nicole and I are so confronted and sobered by this end time reality; are we cultivating a lifestyle of constant awareness & application of truth…of The Absolute Truth – The Word of God; every detail of it in every detail of every part of our lives? Furthermore, are we training our children in this way; ourselves fully cognizant, and nurturing them to be fully cognizant of the times we are in…
In a time of so many different shades of grey being accepted as relative, preferential, self-made truths; the fine print, or lesser read T&Cs of The Word of God which we often prefer to not speak of, are more important than ever as they begin separating the wheat from the chaff!

Outreach to School in Brits
On the 18th of March we were invited to minister at a school in Brits. We started off the morning by doing a Puppet Show with the Junior Primary Children followed by activities, while the other half of our team did Evangelical Games with the Senior Primary Children. Later in the day we did Worship and shared a message with the high-school children. It was such an honour to be Jesus’ hands and feet and to see young ones give their lives and hearts to Jesus.
Launch of Children’s Equipping
In March the Witbank House of Prayer launched the Children’s Equipping Centre; currently this runs on Sunday evenings during the Fellowship. The long term dream for this is for the Children to be running their own prayer-room while the Adults run their prayer-room. Trinity does the dances for the children for this and assists wherever else is needed.
Easter Weekend – Churches Gather Together
Easter Weekend is always special but this past one was extra special as the House of Prayer Community Celebrated it with 3 other congregation in Witbank. We gathered together for Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday, it is always awesome for us to watch different parts of the body fellowshipping and celebrating together.
Family News
March was a month of celebration for us; having celebrated our 12th Wedding Anniversary, Jean-Claude turning 7, Nicole’s Father turning 70 and Trinity turning 11. We also had the privilege of going away for a few days to Marloth Park…it was a good time; Nicole was just sick for most of the time away, but we are grateful for her full recovery now.
We’re enjoying pursuing a lifestyle of prayer and worship together, attending the house of prayer daily, doing schoolwork and sport and running Masson Music.
Its also an exciting time for Jean-Michel on his running journey, as he runs his next Marathon this coming weekend (7 May) and his first Ultra-Marathon in June; all in preparation for the Comrades Ultra-Marathon (90km) on the 28th of August. Keep him in your prayers, for safety, strength, good recovery, and no injuries.
As a family we would be grateful for your continued prayers for financial break through and wisdom in each season…Also, for protection of our health as we are going into a very busy ministry season.

In the midst of confusion, moral decline and church disengagement we see an opportunity for a whole generation of believers to arise who will have no disconnect between their belief and action— Who instead of settling for a life of complacent Christianity will be activated into the message and action of Jesus.
There will be numerous speakers as well as worship sessions during the 12 hours. Among the speakers are Mike Bickle, Lou Engle, Heidi Baker, Tod White, Daniel Calveti, Andy Byrd and many more.
It is going to be 12 hours of being encouraged and inspired to step up and to step out.
Anyone can come for the 12 hours or a part of the 12 hours.
We encourage as many people as possible to join us, even if you only joining us from 5-8pm or 6-8pm…but try to do as many hours as possible!
