Dear Prayer Partner
November is traditionally Thanksgiving month in the USA, and although we do not live in the USA, we also want to dedicate this month to being grateful.
We have so much to be grateful for…
- We are grateful for our team
In our picture are the wonderful team of people who all said “yes” when our Heavenly Father called them to lay down their lives and become prayer missionaries. We appreciate each and every one of them for the unique gifts and talents they have and give for the Kingdom of God to come into our city and our nation.
Each is dedicated to our mission and our vision in Witbank House of Prayer.
What is our mission?
That the First Commandment, to love the Lord our God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength is first in our lives.
To live daily in an intimate and loving relationship with Him.
To live Godly and holy lives that is energized and sustained by love.
What is our vision?
To grow to:
- 300+ fulltime Worshippers and Intercessors.
- Night and Day Worship and Intercession.
- Training of Worshippers and Intercessors.
- To support the Body of Christ in our city and country through worship and intercession.
- To have an impact for the Kingdom of God in our community, city, country and the world.
- We are grateful for you as our partner!
We can not thank you enough for praying for us and if you also support us financially for your support !! We praise the Lord for you. Without your prayer for us, we can not continue to do what we do in the ministry.
- We are grateful for God’s provision
Walt Meyer said in 2014 when he and Julie were with us: “when something is God’s will, God takes care of the bill”.
We can witness and rejoice over and over again in the way God provides for the ministry and allow us to “keep the fire burning on the altar” (Lev. 6:13) for 38 hours a week.
We are grateful for our Heavenly Father’s provision in our personal lives.
We are grateful that Father provided for us the wonderful privilege of being able to go to Die Strand in the Western Cape from 22 November to 4 December for a break. Although our spirits are strengthened every day by our time in the Word and prayer, our bodies feel tired and we look forward to this time of resting a little at the end of a full and busy year.
- We are grateful for our students
We are grateful for the students who are part of the ministry in the House of Prayer this year. Each of them makes a unique contribution to the ministry and it is a privilege to see young people with all their hearts seeking to serve God and to know Him better, to live a life dedicated to Him.
- We are grateful for our Moms
We are thankful that we are blessed to have both our Moms and that they are both still healthy at 85 and 83 respectively!
- We are grateful for our family
We are grateful for our two brothers, sisters-in-law and their children. We are grateful for good relationships and the privilege of spending time with them.
- We are grateful to be able to witness how God works
We are thankful that in recent times we have been able to witness how our Father completely healed a woman who had to walk with the help of a walking frame for 8 years and also had to use a wheelchair. The Lord touched her with His healing power and she was able to run up and down the prayer room and get rid of the wheelchair and walking frame.
We are thankful that we were able to see how our Father completely heals a young woman and frees her from drug addiction in such a powerful way that she does not even have withdrawal symptoms and has been completely free for more than two weeks.
We are thankful for the Healing Rooms ministry and for seeing week after week how our Father touches people with His healing hand!
We are grateful for every person who has made the choice to accept Jesus Christ as their personal Savior in counseling conversations over the past month.
- We are grateful for our spiritual family
We are thankful for our broader spiritual family who attend our Fellowship on Sundays and just love us for who we are.
We are grateful for every spiritual brother and sister with whom we can sometimes just drink coffee, hang out and laugh.
- We are grateful for the relationship with the International House of Prayer University in Kansas City as well as the International House of Prayer.
- We are grateful for ministry opportunities
We are grateful for the opportunity we had to do the Harp and Bowl training at a congregation in Benoni who wants to start a House of Prayer and we are excited about the new path the Lord is leading them on.
- We are grateful for what the Lord is busy doing in our nation
We are grateful for a call we received a few weeks ago from a lady in Knysna who attended our prayer conference in 2018 and was called by the Lord during the conference to start a House of Prayer in Knysna. She called us to say that the Lord is now putting everything in place for them to get started.
We are thankful for the Prayer Chain that our Father still maintains and in which there are still dozens of people who pray day and night for healing and revival for our nation and who are still faithful after more than 600 days.
- We are grateful for the House of Prayer
We are thankful for the wonderful privilege we have to be in the Prayer Room for at least four hours from Tuesdays to Fridays to stand in the gap for our nation and to release the power of the Word into the atmosphere over our nation through worship with the Word sessions.
WOW !!! We can still go on and on, but would like to conclude by saying that we are grateful to you who took the time to read this newsletter.
Our prayer for you is that our Father will provide in each of your needs in His riches in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19).
We pray that our Father will give you wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of who He is (Eph. 1:17).
We pray that the Holy Spirit will strengthen you daily in your inner man and that He will root and ground you in the love of God and that you, along with other believers, will know how deeply the love of Christ is for you (Eph. 3: 16-19 )
Beloved Prayer Partner please send us any prayer requests you have, because we love to pray with you !!
Much love
Marais and Linda
