The Bridegroom Fast.
Matthew 9:15 reads – “And Jesus said to them, “Can the friends of the bridegroom mourn as long as the bridegroom is with them? But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken from them, and then they will fast.
“The rewards of fasting by Mike Bickle and Dana Candler, writes that “The bride of Christ is meant to long for His return, His Second Coming and fasting is one of the ways we express this longing.”
So…we are the bride…but does the bride long for her Groom… and then, how do you get to that place where you can have a longing in your Spirit/heart for the Groom…?
And this is our story…! We are growing into that longing! God blessed us with the grace to spent time with Him in His presence, to gaze upon His beaty, to fast once a month and in all this we see Jesus inviting us to be with Him. He is preparing Himself a beautiful and mature bride…!
House of Prayer News.
-Joshua Year.
The Joshua Year is an intern year that we do for young people and older people. We do a counselling course in this year; the students read 4 books and have 5 subjects that they do. Part of this year there is a Plumbline, which is a personality restoration course for a week what is compulsory for the students.
IHOPU (International House of Prayer University)
-IHOPU (international House of Prayer University)
We are in an Educational Partnership with the University of the International House of Prayer in Kansa City. We currently have 3 IHOPU student which is also part of the full-time team.
-Bound4Life.
The Witbank House of Prayer is a Bound4Life chapter. This is a prayer movement where we pray for the ending of abortion, for our laws regarding abortion to change, and for revival to come in South Africa. We do this in two parts. The first part is we have a silent siege every first Wednesday of the month, where we stand before an abortion clinic with red tape on our mouth with the word LIFE on it and we stand in silent and pray for the ending of abortion. The second part is after the siege we have a two-hour intercession in the Prayer Room for the ending of abortion. We had our Bound4Life silent siege and Intercession on the 4 May.
-Healing Rooms.
We had healing room training on the 26th of February with Carol Cambell, head of the healing rooms in Africa. It was such a blessing to learn from her and hear the amazing testimonies of other people healing by God. For myself I have been built up and encouraged in my faith.
We are register as Healing Rooms in South Africa. We prayer for healing for the sick. The Healing Rooms are currently running on Tuesdays from 13:00 to 14:00. Living Ball Kids.
As I mentioned previous that I am the owner of Living Ball Kids. We are currently two people working at Living Ball Kids, it is myself as I am also the coach and then I have Mariska Beetge who help me with the Admin and Marketing. Living Ball Kids is my Ministry that flow of the House of Prayer. Living Ball Kids is a private extra mural activity offered for children where we teach them Hockey, Soccer, Netball and Cricket. It’s from the age of 3-10 years and then from this year on it is up until 15 years old as we started a Living Ball Kids Campus. We are doing the Campus classes after school on Wednesdays. With the sporting skills we are also sharing the gospel.
This year there has been a lot of change in Living Ball Kids. As I have mentioned, we started a Living Ball Kids Campus where we make it possible for children from 3 years up to the age of 15 years old to join us. We also make it possible for Home-schooling parents to give the children extra activities to do.
We are also still doing it at schools. We currently have 22 children between the schools and we have at our Living Ball Kids Campus 2 children, where we trust for more.
We are also doing Living Ball Kids with the children at New Life’s Children Home. We are so blessed to have privilege to build into that children’s life. We have met the house mothers and the directors of the children home and they have such loving and graceful hearts.
What am I up to?
- I am busy with my studies in Business Management.
• I am also planning on going for more intense training for the sports that we are doing at the Living Ball Kids. If everything works out, I will start in May.

Emmaus Walk 5-8 May.
I am going on an Emmaus walk for the first time and I can not wait to see what Father will do. I will give more detail about this in my next Newsletter.
The Send 14th May
The Send is a conference that is called by Lou Eagle. The theme of this conference is that the harvest is ready but the labourers is few. We will join the live stream from Kansas City. It is Starting 10am-10pm Central time, which means we will be here in the Prayer Room from 5pm-5am in our time. Anyone can come for the 12 hours or a part of the 12 hours.We encourage as many people as possible to join us, even if you only joining us from 5-8pm or 6-8pm…but try to do as many hours as possible!
This is going to be life-changing!!!

In the midst of confusion, moral decline and church disengagement we see an opportunity for a whole generation of believers to arise who will have no disconnect between their belief and action— Who instead of settling for a life of complacent Christianity will be activated into the message and action of Jesus.
There will be numerous speakers as well as worship sessions during the 12 hours. Among the speakers are Mike Bickle, Lou Engle, Heidi Baker, Tod White, Daniel Calveti, Andy Byrd and many more.
It is going to be 12 hours of being encouraged and inspired to step up and to step out.
Ministry in Klarinet – 21 May.
On Saturday 21 May we will be ministering as House of Prayer Team in Klarinet Township to a small prayer group, please pray for us that God will just show up with His presence.

Paul Ameen is visiting – 31 May -10 June.
Paul Ameen will be visiting us again from 31 May to 10 June to provide further equipment in understanding Islam and how to reach Muslims with the gospel. We do not yet have details about who the program is going to be but are excited about what Father is planning with this visit from Paul at Witbank House of Prayer. Keep a look out for information…
Eiland Outreach – 25 June – 10 July.
Our House of Prayer Team are going on an outreach to the Eiland ATKV resort again from 25 June to 10 July and are excited about the opportunity we have again this year to be able to share the good news of Jesus Christ to broken people in different ways. If you know of any Youth that would be keen to join this outreach, you’re welcome to contact us for more details.
