April, what a fun and exciting month…

IHOPU news:

We did a online ministry trip. Now this may sound strange to you. How do you do a online ministry trip?. Well let me first explain why we did it. Every year the students of IHOPU do a ministry trip where they go to different states in America. Well we as online students are not able to do that with the on campus students in the US. So, they arranged for us to do an online ministry trip for the first time, and we made history! Here is what we did:

We partnered with a ministry called Harvest ministries where we joined them in Spirit Café. Spirit Café is a place people come who are searching for spiritual encounters. Either prophesy, Healing, a place for spiritual cleansing (forgiveness of sins), dream interpretation, and peace treatment. Their aim is to reach the people of the world searching for answers at all the wrong places. How this worked, the people joined a zoom link they saw on social media they were then placed in a social room where people of our team engaged with them as they waited to enter the treatment room. Once they entered the treatment room, 3 of us received them and they could then request one of the treatments I mentioned earlier.

I got the privilege by being in the treatment room 2 times and once in the social room. Both rooms is so special. I would say my highlight was to see the people filled with hope as they hear how Jesus feels about them. And to see how the prophetic words of all 3 team members align and build upon each other. I got to see people accept Jesus and this really touched my heart, and gave me a desire to see more people in the world that is lost to get saved.

We did a zoom prayer meeting with a organization called “Pray for tech”, They uniquely gather with Christians across different companies (Facebook, Instagram, Apple, Microsoft etc), vocations and churches. They pray for believers in technology and unbelievers to meet Jesus. Their mission is to see technology and social media as a place for the use of glorifying God.

It was a blessing to pray with them and for them.  My perspective on technology and social media really changed.

Personally I always thought it was bad, and to be honest there is bad stuff but to see and hear what God could do encouraged me greatly.

We joined Ekballo Evangelism with Myanmar. This is where we made history! They are working with YWAM and what they did was post a cartoon story on Facebook telling the story about our sin and Jesus, they could then engage and they click on link where they can respond by saying the want to know more, or they can accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour, they also add their details. We then received some of their names and we got the opportunity to send them a prayer, or word of encouragement. This was amazing because these were new believers and they got to be blessed with prayer and prophesy.

Our missionary friends in Myanmar

Ekballo prayer walking in Myanmar. We also got to virtually prayer walk in Myanmar, one of the team members had a virtual reality set on his head. They then punched in some locations and swish we were there. He then looked around and we got to see some beautiful places in Myanmar while we pray for the country.

We had a lot of team prayer meetings. This was such a sweet time as we fellowshipped and encouraged each other with our testimonies from the trip. It was also so nice to get to know our fellow classmates all over the world (15 nations) as we spent the week together on zoom, I would almost say 24/7 as our time zones are different.

We also had some opportunities o join in with different houses of prayer all over the globe.

Our prayer room praying with our online friends against abortion in our country.

I am so grateful  for this trip. It was so encouraging to see people meet Jesus, to see people that meets Jesus getting ministered to, to see people that knows Jesus getting built up. Also I am so grateful as my desire for the lost to be saved got strengthened.

Other news, I did a assignment where we had to do something creative to highlight a aspect of Gods beauty that moves us. I decided to make a video. It is a bit goofy but that is fine. If you would like to watch it here is the link: https://youtu.be/-bkYfwUl2M0

House of prayer news:

As always we are keeping the fire burning on the altar.

Some exciting things happening in May: 14 May is THE SEND and we will join the live stream from Kansas City.  It is 10am – 10pm Central time, which means we will be here in the Prayer Room from 5pm – 5am.

On the The Send website, we read the following:

In the midst of confusion, moral decline and church disengagement we see an opportunity for a whole generation of believers to arise who will have no disconnect between their belief and action— Who instead of settling for a life of complacent Christianity will be activated into the message and action of Jesus.

There will be numerous speakers as well as worship sessions during the 12 hours.  Among the speakers are Mike Bickle, Lou Engle, Heidi Baker, Tod White, Daniel Calveti, Andy Byrd and many more.

It is going to be 12 hours of being encouraged and inspired to step up and to step out.

Anyone can come for the 12 hours or a part of the 12 hours.

We encourage as many people as possible to join us, even if you only join us from 5-8pm or 6-8pm, but try to do as many hours as possible!

This is going to be life-changing!!!
