Good day, this will be my first newsletter since I became a full time missionary.

My prayer missionary journey started in 2020 when I was

called to the Witbank House of Prayer to do the Intern Year, called the Joshua Year.

During the Joshua Year I decided to stay at the Witbank House of Prayer to do the Ministry Training School through IHOPU (International House of Prayer University). In 2021 I started my first year and completed it in 6 months, I am currently busy with my second year.

While doing the IHOPU Ministry Training I felt on my heart that I must make intercession my full-time occupation and join the full-time staff as a prayer missionary. It is my desire to be in the House of the Lord making intercession for our nation & the nations.

Currently my responsibilities include:

  • 16 hours in the prayer-room per week. This includes leading and preparing for intercession sets.
  • Completing my IHOPU studies.
  • Any other duties required of me by the House of Prayer as a full-time staff member, for example being on reception duty.

On a Monday when the House of Prayer is closed and in any other free time I have I do the following to help supplement a small portion of my income:

  • Assisting a handy man on a farm
  • Assisting a handyman in the city
  • Cleaning carpets
  • Making and selling chocolate brownies.

January was a busy month so far, even though it just started.

I came back the 2nd of January from a lovely holiday visiting my parents in Brits. The 4th I started working between the farm, renovating a house in the city & cleaning the House of Prayer’s carpets. I am very grateful for each opportunity that I got to work.

On the 18th I was back at the House of Prayer starting with the 2nd semester of my 2nd year of IHOPU. The current courses I’m taking this semester is: Encounter God Studies, Prayer & Practicum, IHOPU Foundations, Cultivating a life in the Spirit & New Testament Survey.

If you are interested in the books I’m currently reading here they are:

  • Brother Lawrence. The Practice of the Presence of God. Whitaker Books.
  • Bennett, Kirk. Deepening Prophetic Revelation Through Meditation Manual.

I’m also skimming through:

  • Tenny, Merrill. New Testament Survey. Grand Rapids. MI. Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company 1985

Witbank House of Prayer also had harp & bowl training to equip people to become singers & musicians in the House of the Lord to bring prayer and worship together to be sustainable and a lovely incense before the throne of God

I want to thank the Lord for making it possible for me to stay yet another year in Witbank. Who gave me side work opportunities for a extra income & blessings through financial partners.

I also want to thank my financial partners for taking hands with me & making it possible to be at the House of Prayer, doing what the Lord has called me to do.

If you have any prayer request family, business, personal, ministry etc I would love to pray with you.
