Happy New Year

10 Years

It is with great expectation in our hearts that we greet you at the beginning of 2019 and wish you a blessed year.
This year is our 10 year anniversary since Witbank House of Prayer started in the living room of Marais and Linda on August 4th, 2009.
We look back over the past 10 years with thanksgiving in our hearts, but look forward to years to come with an expectation for the fulfillment of dreams that God placed in our hearts.

What is a Prayer Missionary

We often hear the question: What is a Prayer Missionary. We are grateful for Mike Bickle, founder of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, who paved the way for many questions that we might have on this journey of being a House of Prayer with full-time Prayer Missionaries, or what he calls Intercessory Missionaries.
In the resource section on our Website you can find an article written by Mike on this and we encourage you to read the whole article.
But here we just want to give you a short description:
The Lord is calling people to a full-time ministry occupation that I refer to as an intercessory missionary. I define an intercessory missionary as one who does the work of the kingdom from the place of prayer and worship, while embracing a missionary lifestyle and focus.
People sometimes ask me what an intercessory missionary is and where it is in the Bible. In principle, this calling and occupation is found throughout the Bible.
In the article that Mike wrote, he briefly mention where this calling is found in both the Old and New Testament.

Arise 2019

We are excited to announce that Arise 2019 will be hosted in Witbank as well as in Bloemfontein and our speakers this year is Wesley and Stacey Campbell from Santa Maria, California.
Wesley is the founder of Be A Hero International and a board member of Tell Asia Ministries. He has taught throughout the nations on “Praying the Bible.”
Wesley is a very gifted teacher. His passion for revival will inspire you and his teachings on Praying the Bible will change your life and the lives of those around you. He founded and pastored a church in Canada for 30 years.
While leading this apostolic center, Wesley, along with his wife, Stacey, travelled to between 50 – 100 cities a year, ministering in over 2000 churches and conferences, spanning 70 countries. As popular conference speakers, they labour to see revival and social justice transform the world.
Stacey Campbell is a prophetic voice to this generation and has a passion to teach believers to know how to hear the voice of God through proper teaching and strong values. She is the founder of the Canadian Prophetic Council, and has helped launch prophetic roundtables in several nations.
We will start Arise 2019 with a Prophetic School in Witbank 6 & 7 November 2019 followed by a weekend Conference 8 & 9 November 2019.
The Bloemfontein Conference will be 12 – 14 November 2019.
More info about cost and venues will be announced later on the Website. But diarize this now and make sure you don’t miss Arise 2019!

Dr. Dick Eastman writes in his book Intercessory Worship the following: “Could worship-saturated prayer be a powerful key to transforming cities and
nations today?”
We believe that we can impact the atmosphere over our cities with prayer and that we can transform our nation through prayer.
We want to invite you to join us this year as we continue to impact and transform through prayer and to persevere in doing this and not give up.
Join us in the Prayer Room from Tuesdays to Fridays and if you are not in Witbank, join us on the Facebook Livestream Sunday evenings.
